20 DAYS UNTIL THE DRAFT...

Most people have speculated that Sean Lee will be the second best inside linebacker coming out this year, barely trailing behind Rolando McClain. Sean Lee could potentially be this years Brian Cushing. He has all the tangibles and skill-set that he needs to make it at the next level. Fellow teammate Navorro Bowman played a bit of inside linebacker, but Lee was the anchor in the middle of that linebacking corp.

Lee has shifted linebacker positions throughout his career though and is considered by some to be versatile. In '07, he smashed the opposition left and right. He flew all over the field and was able to record 138 Tackles, 3 Sacks, 3 Fumbles Forced, and 1 Interception that year. I am a firm believer that Lee needs some kind of nickname like "the menace" or "the assassin" ...something along those lines to illustrate the chaos he brings to the football field.

In the four years that he played for the legendary Joe Paterno's Nittany Lions, he managed to rack up 345 Tackles, 3 Fumbles Forced, and 3 Interceptions. This is just the beginning for Sean Lee. I think he will be a name we hear for a long time in the NFL.

Below we will take a deeper look in to some of the things that Lee brings to the table.

The video here, not only shows Sean Lee on the football field, but also illustrates his personality off the field.

SUMMARY AND PROJECTION:

Lee has a good frame for a middle linebacker that should hold up well in the NFL. He makes reads extremely quick and plays the game very intelligently. He has excellent instinct and plays the game with a high motor. However, he will have to fine tune his hip motion in certain scenarios. He also is not the fastest guy, so in the NFL he will have to put himself in the right positions to be successful. If he is able to do those things, he has the chance to materialize in to a Brian Urlacher type of player which also is not the fastest guy. He measured at 6'2" and weighed 236. He should probably put on 5 LBS or so, to be inline with the rest of the NFL at that position.

Possibilities -- 2nd Round: Picks 50-64, 3rd Round: Picks 65-80.
