Golden Nuggets: Keeping the links comin'.

Morning everyone, Ninjames here. I just wanted to start out saying thanks for a change. The Nuggets have gotten more and more comments over the last couple days. I'll be honest with you, there were times when I didn't want to do them because I didn't know if people were even reading them, the commenting on a slow day DURING the season was three a day, now a slow day is 30, and well, thanks, it really validates it, as shallow as that sounds. Anywaaay, that aside, I've got plenty of 49ers links for you today. OTAs are done for the month of May and I should have some final looks on those, and any other bit of random 49ers information I come across, I'll pass your way. I don't have as many as yesterday, but it should be sufficient. Enjoy, folks.

Here is Matt Maiocco's full offensive review, taking a look at each player who played offense for the team during OTAs. (CSNBayArea.com)

And here is his defensive review, I don't think I need to explain this one. (CSNBayArea.com)

Singletary is applying pressure on punt returns, and is making it a large point of interest for him and the team. If they field a unit with similar productions to last season, you can count on it losing one or two extra games. (SacBee.com)

Anthony Davis and Mike Iupati, the teams two first round picks this season, are eager to get into the starting lineup. I believe they'll both be starting week one. (PressDemocrat.com)

Here's my summary of the four days of minicamps, I didn't make it out there myself but I compiled information. (Eureka49ers.com)

Sando has an article on the 49ers stadium situation. I really hope it gets done. (ESPN.com)

A short breakdown on the 49ers fullbacks. It's worth noting that Nate Byham may also be in the running for the backup job. (NinersCentral.com)

I think the bit at the end with the comparisons to the Raiders is a bit cynical at this point, but it's not a bad read about the stability of the 49ers' power structure. (ScoresReport.com)

Vernon Davis surprised some contest winners recently... I wanna meet him. Too bad I hate being active. (49ers.com)

Beat Writer Twitter Roundup

Barber: RT @stupac3uk: @Skinny_Post was Barry sims at the otas? Thanks for your coverage >> Yes, Barry was there, sharing LT reps w/ 2nd team (Really not much today from Twitter, that's about it.)

Rival Blog Buzz The Rams might be making an attempt to sign OJ Atogwe, the 'Hawks blog takes a look at their recently released quarterback, and the Cards blog examines the teams reported interest in Marc Bulger

Yesterday On Niners Nation We started with the Nuggets, and then I followed that up with a player profile on Justin Smith, Howtheyscored wrapped up his year-by-year posts,  we had a post about Vernon Davis and his fantasy value, and we closed the day with Fooch promoting a fanpost to the front page from Tre9er about the Goldson-Atogwe debate

Today On Niners Nation (All times pacific and subject to change.)

7:00 AM - I'll have another player profile post going up--though I'm not sure who it will be on.

11:00 AM - I also will be getting a Saturday Swing up at this point.

2:00 PM - I believe Fooch has a Lying with the Enemy post going up at this time.

49ers Tweet Of The Day "RT @FiletMenyaun: @thehawk38 The why are you hungry? lol.. you survived that one day off just skittles> never again my stomach was killin me" haha.. wow, Dashon. Wow. His Twitter is here.

Yesterday's Best Comment "You guys ought to thank me for providing you with rich comedic material. Without me your lives would be nasty, brutish, and short (extra props if you recognize the quote without looking it up)." from Smileyman. What a comment. And I recognized it, smileyman. I recognized it.
