I received an email earlier today with something that might interest our Bay Area readers. Tomorrow (Saturday), 49ers head coach Mike Singletary will be doing some promotional work for Verizon Wireless from 1-3pm at their Market Street store on 768 Market Street in downtown San Francisco.
He'll be signing autographs for folks, but apparently if you're in the market for a new phone, there is a VIP offer. The store has a VIP offer that includes "an intimate meet and greet" with Singletary and also a football and autographed poster. VIP customers will also be entered to win two tickets to an NFL game. I'm not sure if that means a 49ers game, or just any NFL game. I'd imagine it'd be local, but who knows.
To get this VIP access, you apparently have to must purchase a Motorola phone with a 1-year or 2-year agreement between now and noon tomorrow. However, autographs will still happen even if you don't sign up for this phone.
