Although we're a 49ers site, today is a big day for USA soccer. After an amazing 1-0 victory over Algeria, team USA finds themselves facing off against Ghana. There is a bit of history here as Ghana eliminated us in the 2006 World Cup's group round. A victory today over Ghana will send team USA into the quarterfinals with a somewhat favorable matchup against the winner of Uruguay-South Korea.
So, here we go. Even if you're not a soccer fan, it's a big day in sports. Go USA!
