Yesterday ProFootballFocus had an article where they discussed the various offensive lines in the NFL. They went
through and ranked all 32 teams, and where they put the 49ers might surprise you. Incidentally, they regard Eric Heitmann as our best offensive lineman, not Joe Staley. I won't copy everything they said but I will give their rankings.

1. NY Jets (1st run, 2nd passing, 12th overall in penalties)
2. Miami Dolphins (Run No. 7, Pass No. 1, Penalties No. 9)
3. New England Patriots (Run No. 4, Pass No. 4, Penalties No. 11)
4. New Orleans Saints (Run No. 2, Pass No. 13, Penalties No. 6)
5. Baltimore Ravens (Run No. 5, Pass No. 3, Penalties No. 24)

Join me after the jump fro the rest of the rankings.

If we end up with the 14th best line in the NFL I'll be very happy since I regard that as a major improvement. Where do you think the 49ers offensive line will end up at?
