Golden Nuggets: 2011 Pro Bowl Results And Standing Around

Well, the 2010 NFL season is officially in the books as the 2011 Pro Bowl is now complete. The NFC won 55-41 but the game was not really as close as the score would indicate. The NFC jumped out to a huge 42-7 lead by halftime and eased off whatever gas pedal they might have had pressed down. One of the highlights of the game came at the very end when Cleveland Browns center and former Cal great Alex Mack scored a touchdown on a last minute desperation play involving hook-and-ladder elements. Seeing the big man rumble down the field was impressive. Although, I was also amused by the defensive and offensive linemen just standing around while Matt Cassel looked for a target. The game was more or less decided and you could tell nobody really cared about much. It was sort of the Pro Bowl in a nutshell.

For late night folks checking out the Nuggets, I set up an open thread with some questions for our foreign readers that are reading the site right now in the middle of the day for them. Swing by there if you get a moment.
