Good morning, folks. Today, our 49ers face their biggest test thus far: the 5-0 Detroit Lions. It still feels odd to say that ... I suppose a bad, losing season will linger for a little bit, but something like 0-16 continues to resonate with me and I still associate the Lions with that. It's not out of malice or some desire to make fun of them, it's just an automatic thing for me. Maybe if they beat the 49ers that won't be the association anymore, but for now, I remain confident. Onto the links, and as usual for gamedays, there's not a ton. What else is there to say, really? Go Niners!
