Golden Nuggets: 49ers-Browns Game Day Is Here

It's a busy day today but not a ton of links heading into this afternoon's 49ers-Browns game. The 49ers are favorites in this game, and to ask some folks here, just showing up is enough. The Baltimore Ravens showed that is not always the case. While the 49ers should win this game, the NFL has a surprisingly consistent way of coming out of nowhere and shocking teams back into reality.

The 49ers get a Browns team that has been a bit inconsistent, but has found ways to win some ugly football games. If they can turn this into an ugly game, I still think the 49ers can win, but the possibility is always there for a grinder. I'd much prefer a simply blowout. It would be much easier on my nerves. After last night's crazy Stanford win over USC, I'm a little worn out. I'm not a huge Stanford fan or anything, but I enjoy watching Andrew Luck and that offense play. I'd like to see them get a crack at the national title game. Or at the very least make Stanford-Oregon even more of a must-see game. On to the links.
