49ers Vs. Browns: Another Solid Team Effort

The San Francisco 49ers improved to 6-1 with an ugly but steady victory over the Cleveland Browns. They dominated for much of the first half and then basically just sort of did enough "not to lose" if you will. What I enjoyed once again was the team concept of the victory. The 49ers are operating as a cohesive unit and while it is not the prettiest effort at times on offense, it has gotten the job done. It remains to be seen if it will be enough to make serious noise in January, but the team has two months to get some things figured out.

The defense on the other hand is putting together a great team effort week in and week out. The one slip up between Dashon Goldson and Tarell Brown did cost the 49ers a touchdown, but otherwise the unit put together a solid effort.

We're back one more time with a player tweet that reflects this team effort. Joe Staley got a chance to make a big catch (more video coming in the morning) but was just as pumped by the efforts of Frank Gore and the offensive line as a whole. And yes this means a bit more of the same after the jump. They keep on winning with it, so I'll keep on sticking with it.
