Golden Nuggets: Alex Smith And The Giants And Padres

I'm back again for another morning of the Nuggets. We've got a whole host of links this morning covering everything from the injury reports to Alex Smith's performances thus far to what Raheem Morris and Josh Freeman think about the 49ers. In case you're wondering, Morris and Freeman think stats are for losers. Thanks for the insight fellas. Although, stats definitely don't back up there last year and a half of performances, so I suppose if anybody is going to hate stats, it's them.

Of all the articles, arguably the most interesting is Maiocco's discussion of Alex Smith switching to a San Francisco Giants hat following games. He used to wear a Padres hat as he is originally from the San Diego area. He has been up in the Bay Area now since 2005 and is feeling a bit more comfortable in the area. I personally am not a Giants fan, but it's interesting to see the development of Smith off the field as well as more of a "Bay Area guy."
