Golden Nuggets: Fines Coming Left, Right And Center

And I'm back for another night of the Nuggets. James should be back on in the coming days, but for now I've got some more links for you. There are a few interesting ones I think might be worth pointing out. Towards the bottom you'll see a Fox Sports link titled Pennington on 49ers. Chad Pennington is working for Fox Sports this year while rehabbing some injuries. I don't know if what his long-term plans are but I think he wants to get back to the NFL. Anyway, he is working for Fox Sports as an analyst and apparently writing as well. The post includes a mix of cliches and quality analysis. Complementary football seems to be his buzzword. When he gets beyond the buzz words he's pretty solid.

The most interesting 49ers news yesterday was that Anthony Davis faces a $25,000 fine for his two leg whips from the Eagles game. He struggled for chunks of the game with two tripping penalties mixed in. This came the same day Jason Babin was handed a fine of his own for striking Alex Smith in the head on one play. Babin went to twitter with one of the funnier tweets I've seen recently. The writing shows up as white print on white background so it's hard to see. He says: "Attn:Guy at the NFL that decides on who and how much players get fined Stop being a puppet, if you want to protect QB's, get better linemen."
