Week 10 NFL Schedule: Morning Game Thread

After a brief bit of action on Thursday, week ten of the NFL gets into full swing today. There are only three afternoon games (including a certain team), which means the AM is loaded with all sorts of action. And it's an excellent week of action to be had. We've got playoff implications galore as division rivals square off left, right and center.

The two big games of the morning have to be the Atlanta Falcons hosting the New Orleans Saints and the Cincinnati Bengals hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Saints hold a slim lead over Atlanta but have struggled on the road. I think Atlanta takes this game, but they can be a bit inconsistent at times. As for the Bengals, they need this game to prove to the world that they are legit AFC North contenders. They are off to a solid 6-2 start but nobody buys them as legit if they don't beat Pittsburgh today.

There are some other fun games in the morning, including Kansas City versus Denver and Dallas versus Buffalo. A Chiefs win moves them ahead of the Raiders in the AFC West by virtue of the head-to-head tiebreaker. A Broncos win leaves the West with a three-way tie for second behind Oakland. As for the Bills, they are teetering and looking to keep their playoff hopes alive after an ugly loss to the Jets.

It should be a fun morning of football. You can see what is on in your neck of the woods at the506.com, or you can flip over to the Red Zone channel to enjoy a buffet of football. We'll be back in a couple hours with a rundown of the 49ers and Giants inactive players.
