Thanksgiving NFL Schedule Open Thread

Happy Thanksgiving to everybody! The 49ers get going later this evening, but in the meantime we have a great set of games to occupy our time. The Green Bay Packers travel to face the Detroit Lions at 9:30am PT and the Miami Dolphins travel to face the Dallas Cowboys at 1:15pm PT.

This is one of the best Thanksgiving day schedules in some time and apparently features the second highest combined win percentage on Thanksgiving since the NFL-AFL merger. The Dolphins bring down the win percentage, but they have been as hot as just about anybody at this point, winning three straight games. They are unlikely to make the playoffs, but considering how poor they were performing through the first half of the season, this is an impressive run.

The Packers will look to run their undefeated season to 11-0 with one of their toughest remaining games. Traveling to the Giants next week won't be easy, but a solid Detroit team on Thanksgiving is going to be a tough one. I think the Packers grab the W, but this could be a fun one. I took the over (55.5) in this one and think it could be quite the shootout. Watch it end up 24-14 or something like that, now.

The Dolphins are traveling to Dallas, but given how they've been playing, I'm intrigued to see how this one plays out. Can Matt Moore and Reggie Bush keep up their recent run? Can the defense contain DeMarco Murray and company? The Dolphins have put up some big point totals the last three weeks, but their defense has been just as important.

We'll have an open thread later tonight for the 49ers-Ravens game and that will be preceded by a look at the inactives. If this thread fills up by the end of the Packers game, I'll add a new thread for the Dolphins-Cowboys game.
