A wild Sunday of football concludes with a huge Sunday Night Football contest. After two fairly awful primetime matchups on Thursday and Saturday, we get an interesting matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and San Diego Chargers.
The Chargers host a game that features two teams with plenty to fight for tonight. The Chargers can climb to within a game of first in a wild AFC West. The Denver Broncos lost to the New England Patriots as Tim Tebow ran out of magic for one week, at least. Tebow had a decent enough day, but it really didn't matter as the Patriots offense was just too much for the Broncos defense.
The Ravens need a win to at least maintain their AFC North lead, although they could take a full game lead if our 49ers can take down the Steelers on Monday Night Football. Additionally, with a win the Ravens would maintain their lead for the number one seed in the AFC.
It has been a crazy day of football in both conferences. The Packers were stunned by the Kansas City Chiefs and the Indianapolis Colts managed their first win of the season. The Packers loss leaves the 49ers mathematically alive to claim the number one seed in the NFC. Of course, that would require the Packers losing their next two games. It probably won't happen, but why not hold out hope?
