Golden Nuggets: Uncertainty Is The Only Certainty

New, comments

Well, thanks to all of you who wished the girlie a happy birthday yesterday. I will take note of all of you who did so and I will reward you in some form. I'm not positive how just yet, but I will come up with something. She really appreciated it. On the 49ers front, we've got a few links but not as many as yesterday. I'm really enjoying the series on Jim Harbaugh and his first month as the 49ers head coach, so there's that. Beyond that, not a whole lot though - more looks at free agency and the 2011 NFL Draft while everyone waits to see what happens with the labor negotiations. Also of note was the video posted yesterday of quarterback Johnny McEntee and the amazing trick throws he was making with a football. I'd assume most of them are real, but there was some really shaky camera work. Either way, it's a great tool for self promotion and I gotta say, I like the guy at this point. Enjoy the links, folks.

Maiocco got the final part of a three-part series on Jim Harbaugh and his first month as the 49ers head coach posted. The first two parts can be found in the previous edition of the Nuggets or on Maiocco's blog, obviously. Can't wait to see what the 49ers look like under this man. (CSNBayArea.com)

Here's a look at Aldon Smith, one of the better pass rushers in the draft and a potential pick for the 49ers in the upcoming 2011 Draft. (Examiner.com)

Drafting a quarterback in the first round is a dangerous thing to do when you look at the numbers, but it just might be more dangerous to wait. (PressDemocrat.com)

One person who knows his quarterbacks insists that the 49ers should be looking at local products for their quarterback of the future. I do like Josh Johnson, and I have for a few years now. I wonder what Harbaugh thinks ... (SacBee.com)

It's hard to tell which 49ers would be worth the franchise tag. I have a good suggestion: none of them. (SFGate.com)
