Niners Nation After Dark: 49ers Rained Out In San Francisco

Welcome back to Niners Nation After Dark. It's pouring here in San Francisco, but that doesn't mean we won't serve you. Come in out of the rain and enjoy a few cocktails as we discuss the topic du jour. And make sure and take it to the Golden Nuggets at 3am if you're still hanging around.

I'm not sure how many people know about this, but we actually have a Niners Nation Story Archive where you can check out all the front page posts we've posted through the history of the site. It defaults to 2011 but you can look to previous years. It doesn't include front page FanShots or FanPosts/FanShots we've moved to the front page. You can view all previous FanPosts HERE and all previous FanShots HERE. I actually primarily navigate via the story archive. You can see all the stories in a list form and which ones have new comments. I just pop them open and voila, there we go.

I mention all this because if you check out the story archive, you'll notice a whole lot of posts that include NFL Draft or NFL Mock Draft in their title. In years past we've had plenty of draft coverage, but not nearly as much as we've got this year. Unfortunately the labor situation makes free agency a bit sketchy at this point, so the draft and labor issues is what we have to focus on. Now that's not entirely a bad thing, but it's still something to keep in mind as the next couple months pass.

For those that are getting sick of draft coverage, or are interested but would like to see some other topics, is there anything in particular you'd like to see us cover? We're always looking for new ways to engage the community, so any suggestions are welcome. The idea is to keep things as busy as possible so the offseason flies by.
