Golden Nuggets: Super Bowl XLV Time

Good morning everyone, are you ready for some football?! I don't know if I am just yet, honestly. I know that my family is going to be somewhere watching the game, but I'm not sure if I will. I definitely am watching mostly for the Super Bowl XLV commercials as I really do not care about the Green Bay Packers or the Pittsburgh Steelers. I just don't, I can't help it. It's probably going to be a good game, and if I watch, I'll enjoy it as such, but I got most of my sporting fix on UFC 126: Silva vs. Belfort last night. The event fell short of my expectations, but it was still a great card with a few surprises and an insane knockout in the main event. Belfort was actually roughing him up a bit , he just couldn't withstand that front kick. Most of you have no idea what I'm talking about, so I'll just get to the 49ers links, though I don't know how many there actually are. Oh, and, just throwing this out there, I love Tabitha. You all will read that because I say so, and because I know she reads this too. I expect every one of you to wish the girlie a happy birthday when it rolls along. I'll let you folks know when. :] On to the links (of which there are only a couple.)

A few "kind-of" 49ers were elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame yesterday. Honestly, to me, the best induction this year was Ed Sabol. (PressDemocrat.com)

Ronnie Lott has a thing or two to say regarding Charles Haley and his inability to make the Hall of Fame. (ProFootballTalk.com)
