I received an email last night with a rather interesting event the 49ers will be conducting next Tuesday, February 15 at 7:00pm pacific. They'll be hosting a 49ers Fan Forum through an interactive conference call featuring head coach Jim Harbaugh and GM Trent Baalke. I vaguely recall them doing this before but am not completely sure. The call will be moderated by play-by-play announcer Ted Robinson.
In order to take part in this conference call, you need to register at the 49ers Fan Forum page. Apparently by signing up you will then potentially be called and brought into the conference call live. The site doesn't have a guarantee that you'll be called but it seems to read that way. I'd also imagine it could depend on how many people register for the call. Either way, if you register at the site you consent to future calls from the 49ers "for solicitation of available ticket offers" so keep that in mind.
I won't be able to take part in the call next week, so I'm thinking I'll set up an open thread for next Tuesday. If anybody decides to get on the conference call you could potentially pass along information you hear in the call. Additionally, maybe we can come up with some quality questions that NN readers can bring into the conference call. Whether you will get in on the call or not, how about we start coming up with potential questions? I can't imagine we'll get a lot of concrete information, but even the spin put on certain answers can tell us a thing or two.
