Hey folks, covering for Ninjames tonight. This is Good Fooch, not Evil Fooch so this is not my push to consolidate my power. Speaking of power, the latter part of this week has been all about the power struggle between the NFL and the NFLPA as they attempt to come up with a new collective bargaining agreement. The two sides agreed on a seven day extension, which is a positive step forward. They could get a new deal done in the next seven days or maybe they work out another extension of negotiations. I feel better about the chance of a new CBA, but I don't think we'll hear anything of real significance until sometime maybe next Thursday. The negotiations are supposed to pick up next Monday and it'll take some time to hopefully make more progress.
Whatever the case, things remain relatively quiet otherwise. We've got plenty of draft discussion to keep us busy, thankfully. If there is any sort of lockout or other work stoppage, it'll make May, June, and beyond potentially unbearable. We'll just have to wait and see. On to the link...
