Two weeks from today the 2011 NFL Draft kicks off in New York City and we'll finally get answers. We'll find out what the 49ers are thinking with that seventh pick, and we'll find out just how right or wrong our 49ers first round mock draft database really is (entire database posted after the jump). Mock drafts have focused in on the cornerback position as Patrick Peterson and Prince Amukamara would appear to be locked in as the two best corners in the draft.
At 8am pacific we're going to have a poll to rank out the top QB prospects for the 49ers. We'll be using the program we use to determine our community big board, where players can be ranked one through five. I want to do the same thing with the cornerback position since it's such an important position for the 49ers in this year's draft. However, if we have a consensus about PP and Prince being the top two, then we can just plug them in at the top and vote on the spots behind them.
Thus, I've put together a poll to clarify this point. I'm not saying you need to rate one better than the other. Rather, are these the top two cornerbacks on the board? If you think somebody rates higher than Prince and/or PP, please let me know who you think that is. If the vote is close I'll include those two on the poll (likely coming on Friday or early next week).
