NFL Draft 2011: Cam Newton, Von Miller, Marcell Dareus, A.J. Green Officially Off 49ers Draft Board

Draft2011_new_medium

The picks are coming fast and furious as the Panthers, Broncos, Bills, Bengals all made their selections quickly, grabbing Cam Newton, Von Miller, Marcell Dareus, and A.J. Green, respectively. Although Dareus, Miller, and Green were on 49ers fan wish lists, Patrick Peterson is the big prize at the top of the board. If the 49ers are going to score Peterson, they need another QB and either another defensive lineman or another wide receiver to go in the next two picks. Will we see that happen? For now I just hope Blaine Gabbert goes to Arizona at the fifth pick.

Feel free to link to any and all rumors you see as I'm sure there will be plenty of them.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Two things: 1) NO GIFs. It slows things down and we're going to have some busy threads, so please do not post them. Also, please avoid posting too many pictures, as they can also slow things down; 2) Just a reminder that site decorum is OFF in the live draft threads. I don't want people cussing up a storm, but warnings will not be issued if you do feel the need to swear. However, just filling up a comment with nothing but swear words is going too far. Also, this does not mean you can attack other users. You can criticize their opinions, but you still have to be respectful of their opinions. However, mocking Mel Kiper and Todd McShay is allowed as warranted.
