Now that the 2011 NFL Draft is complete, we're hearing all about the grades for each pick, and which picks were great versus which were questionable. That's all well in good, but can't really be fully determined until we've seen these guys in action in 2011 and well into the future.

We've given you a chance to grade the 49ers 2011 NFL Draft picks, but I wanted people to assess the draft class in a different manner in this post. I thought it would be interesting to see what picks were your favorite and what picks were your least favorite. This isn't necessarily a question of how you think the particular player will do. Rather, this is just about your instant reaction to the pick.

In going through our NFL Draft discussions over the last few days, reactions ranged from "WOO HOO!" to "WTF were they thinking?!" to "Who?" It seems like for the most part Colin Kaepernick or Kendall Hunter got the most positive reactions, while Aldon Smith and Chris Culliver got the more visceral reactions.

As I sit and look back on the draft class, if I had to pick my "favorite" draft pick, it's probably Kaepernick. It's as much a "fanboy" response to the pick as anything else, but I'm just excited about it. While he might still be a raw prospect that requires some development, his tools have me sufficiently excited. Throw in the fact that he'll work with a former NFL quarterback with a solid track record in helping to develop guys like Andrew Luck and Josh Johnson, and I think many of us are a little bit excited.

As for the pick I was least pleased with, I'd say at most it was just the "Huh?" factor of some of the later round picks. It's kind of a lame reason, but not knowing thing one about some of these guys left me shaking my head. I think that qualifies as a bit more of a selfish reason for disliking the picks, but when you don't know anything about the picks and they haven't played a down of NFL football, that's all I've really got for now.
