Golden Nuggets: Screwing The Raiders One Player at a Time

Ah, it once again feels like the offseason, at least when it comes to the Golden Nuggets. The amount of links is waning, though there remains a ton of things to talk about. I'm still suffering a draft hangover, in that I think I've said all that can be said about these players until we hear something from training camp and see them myself in the preseason. I think that we all have a pretty good idea with how each player will fit, but right now, nobody really knows anything. I still have no idea who the starting quarterback will be next year, though I guess the nod goes to Alex Smith right now. I really don't mind Smith all that much, it just comes down to the little things he does that get me really, really angry. They add up, and it's maddening, even if he's not a terrible signal caller. Ah, oh well - let's get to the links. Enjoy, folks.

Hey guys ... guys ... get this: Colin Kaepernick likes football. Are you surprised, perhaps even shocked? No ... no you're not, but still, it's nice to see how much passion he has for the game and specifically, learning the game. (PressDemocrat.com)

Was I the only one who honestly stood up and did a little dance when the news that Joe Theismann is being bumped from Thursday Night Football came out? Can't stop, won't stop. (49ers.com)

It looks like the 49ers could be in the market for another cornerback. I sincerely hope they are, wouldn't that be great if they could land one of the top guys? Nnamdi Asomugha wearing the red and gold would be amazing ... plus that means we took Kaepernick AND Asomugha from the Raiders. (CSNBayArea.com)

Sam Lam continues looking at the 49ers draftees, this latest one is on Colin Kaepernick. I really like this kid, I've been big on him for awhile. Plus, you know ... Turlock bias. (Examiner.com)

The Nevada Wolf Pack examiner took a look at Kaepernick for Lam, check out what he had to say here. (Examiner.com)
