I can't speak to Anthony Dixon's running ability just yet ... we haven't seen nearly enough to know whether or not he'll be anything other than a backup. As it stands, with Kendall Hunter coming in, I don't like Dixon's chances to get expanded playing time in 2011. That being said, Dixon is absolutely awesome in every other way. I didn't know what to expect going into last season, but just seeing him dancing on the sideline, dancing on the field or dancing ... everywhere else almost made him worth a selection on its own.

Anyway, you guys need to follow him on Twitter. If you don't have a Twitter account, you need to get one. Because I said so. Boom. The best thing about Dixon's Twitter is that I read basically every tweet as though he's singing and dancing. Actually, half the time, I can't tell if he's posting lyrics from a song, or if he's just talking normally. Maybe they're lyrics from a song he's written. I'm actually not sure at all, but if there's any indication of the guy's craziness, we could look at the things he tags himself with ... you know, the tags that only he uses, right on the front page of his profile:

#GrindingForMyState #TeamLetsDoItLegGo #CandlestickLandlords #TeamDixon #SaN Francisco 49ers #Team6ThRoundPick #TeamSelfMotivated #TeamRelentless

I personally love "#Team6thRoundPick", a tag never actually used in a tweet. I wish it were though, and other sixth round picks used it. That would be awesome. I would also like to know what "Let's Do It Leg Go" is, I imagine he means ... Let's Go? Maybe? I have no idea, but I know that solution would at least compare it to a song. Not a terrible song, as it happens, but yeah. So there's that. Make the jump for more.

He's actually had a string of tangible tweets lately, but then he gets into some really weird territory that I can't even begin to understand. Here's something about Bart Scott and NASCAR.

I'm on my Bart Scott Can't Wait SH$t,That You want sum of me? Scarfsce SH$t, Dat I'm reloaded, off Safety,At NASCAR Speed Chasing greatness!

What?

I mean really it's a honor,I want several,don't need em,but I want em,Big Difference,I wanna be Happy I wanna play football,Hang wit da Boys

You do play football. I hope it works out for you, but I have no idea what you're saying, Anthony Dixon. Not even a little bit.

Booting in this Bish,Up on top of everybody like we flew off in this Bish,we off in this bish, dont care who off in this Bish,We will lose

I uh ... I don't ... what? You crazy man. I like you. But you crazy.

Nawl Nawl now cus Bron Nem gone be better,Rose nem too,Dallas King on yall side, kobe gotta get a superstar, average want do!

I am pretty positive that this tweet can be deciphered ... anybody care to help with that one?

So there ... there's some tweets from Dixon. I really have no idea what he's getting at with most of this, but I read every one and I get the impression that he's saying something awesome. The other amazing part is that all of this craziness is just from the past couple days. There's plenty more where that comes from. I've been pretty outspoken about hating idiocy on Twitter, but I don't think this qualifies as idiocy.

It's just crazy. That's really all I know.
