I seriously underestimated just how much people dislike Joe Buck. I find the man insufferable, but I thought the group of people that felt that way was ... substantially smaller than it actually is. That's not a bad thing by any means, I fully expected my seeding to be demolished, but "Racial Profiling A Player's Skillset" may mount a comeback yet. I'm in a hurry, so we'll get right to today's matchup between "The Brady Six" and "Divas". Should be interesting, to say the least.
So make the jump to read the descriptions of the participants for today, read full results from the opening round of the bracket, view the entire bracket. But first: remember, we are voting on what we believe to be the absolute worst thing of the two. If you're voting in a worst food contest, and you like pizza more than hamburgers, you would then vote for hamburgers in that matchup. Get it? Got it? Good. Make the jump.
(11) The Brady Six
The way ESPN tells it, you'd think that Tom Brady is the only quarterback to ever have a great career while not being the first one off the board. There's all this talk about Brady's "Cinderella" story, and I just don't see it. Yeah, he overcame a lot of odds and became something special, but I don't quite think that fits in the spirit of "Cinderella," whose story is supposed to be one of at least partial exclusivity. So they had to make this documentary and talk about the quarterbacks selected before Brady. That's The Brady Six. The six guys taken before him. How stupid is that?
(14) Divas
Players who think they are God's gift to football, who think they deserve only the best treatment, who blame everything on other people. T.O. is a good example of a diva. He's actually one of the best examples of a diva. Some people might say Michael Crabtree is a diva, and I don't agree. At least not yet, but there have been some tendencies that get him partially there. He's got a whole career to prove one of us wrong, though. Either way, divas are just awful, and now I'm wishing I spent more time on the right side of the bracket because I feel like this is seeded way too low. We shall see.
