I'm covering for Ninjames today and it looks like things are taking a positive step forward in the labor dispute between the players and the owners. We seem pretty close to agreement on the rookie wage scale. This is important because many people have proclaimed this to be the final major hurdle before a possible deal. It remains to be seen how much longer the two sides will be negotiating, but things should pick back up later today.
Speaking of the labor negotiations, I've picked up some additional responsibilities with SB Nation providing analysis on a variety of legal issues. If you are interested in the legal side of things, check me out on twitter at @sportslawtalk. Thus far I've covered the Roger Clemens trial, the NFL and NBA lockouts, Gilbert Arenas suing the TV show Basketball Wives, and even Sugar Shane Mosley's divorce settlement. Check it out if you're interested in these issues. On to the links....
