Yahoo Fantasy Football 2011: Niners Nation Leagues Return

If you buy something from an SB Nation link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics statement.

Yahoo! Fantasy Football supports SB Nation and pigskin awesomeness. It’s also the #1 Fantasy Football game thanks to dazzling player research, instant stats with free live scoring, iPhone, Android, and iPad apps this season. Plus, new scoring categories for long receptions and rush plays. (Yes!) Sign up at yahoo.com/fantasyfootball.

Now that the NFL Lockout is wrapped up, football returns, which also means fantasy football is back on everybody's radar. We've run site leagues over the past few years, although last year we were stuck with one due to pricing. This year that will not be the case as we will be conducting our leagues via Yahoo Sports' free fantasy football setup.

I've set up the first twelve-team league and will welcome any and all challengers. If you're interested in joining a league, post a comment indicating that so I can figure out how many leagues we'll need. Also, if you're interested in being a commissioner for a league, mention that as well so we can get that going as more leagues become necessary. This first league is pretty basic settings, so nothing too crazy.

If you're looking to get a league started outside of Niners Nation, head over to Yahoo! Fantasy Sports to start your league.
