In future weeks I'll have a few final preview comments to start the game thread, but for week one, there's not much more that needs to be said. The Jim Harbaugh era has been on-going since January, but in reality today is when judgments begin. While one game is not enough to make final judgments, that won't stop most of us from wildly overreacting to the performances at Candlestick today.

However it plays out, football is back. Like Coach Harbaugh has said every day, it's time to take it one day at a time, one quarter at a time, one play at a time. Let's hope for the best.

GO NINERS!
