As you may or may not have noticed, Guinness has become a bit of a regular sponsor, including sponsoring the game threads we operate each Sunday. I'm actually a bit of a Guinness man myself so I suppose it's good timing on that.
Part of the deal includes coming up with the "Boldest Fan" for the team and here on the blog. I'd like to open the floor for nominations to both. For the franchise, outside of the Banjo Man I don't really know of anybody else that would qualify as the "boldest fan." I don't get to a ton of games at Candlestick so it's entirely possible I am missing out on some folks. Any suggestions?
As for the site itself, we're looking for the site's boldest fan. Basically we're looking for someone who is quite active, whether it be over a long period of time or just providing some great content with your comments. No self-nominations, but rather nominate folks you think are the best at the site. There's no prize as of yet, but I'll try and come up with something for the "Boldest Fan" at the site.
In the meantime, I think a Guinness sponsorship gives us license to show an old "Brilliant!" ad.
