I'm glad that Vernon Davis noted his surprise about the lack of footballs coming his way. More accurately, he noted that he didn't expect to be left in to block as much as he was, and once again, I'm in agreement. Davis really shouldn't be in the block that much ... we've invested in this offensive line and they need to get the job done. Davis should be running the seam and post on every play, looking for the football that had better be there. In short, I really do feel that Jim Harbaugh's offense needs to change a little, or rather, he needs to just green-light the whole thing and not doubt Alex Smith.
