Morning (or afternoon/evening) everybody. I'm filling in for James on the Nuggets today. Yesterday was the first day of practice for the week and the team is gearing up at the facilities of Youngstown State. The 49ers are in the midst of a ten day road trip that took them to Cincinnati this past weekend, to Youngstown, Ohio this week and to Philadelphia this coming weekend.
The team ran a walk-through in the parking lot of their hotel and Coach Harbaugh conducted a press conference in a Holiday Inn (which may or may not be the team's location out there). It's definitely a new setup for the team, but hopefully a productive one. As some of the players have mentioned, it's sort of like a version of training camp. Maybe it gets them a little bit closer. Clearly Niners Nation needs some kind of road trip at some point. We'll have to work on that.
