Aldon Smith Needs A Sack Dance

Apparently following the 49ers-Chargers game, somebody asked Aldon Smith if he had a sack dance. Smith said he didn't, but that he would work on something for the first game. Based on how things have played out, Smith could get a decent number of sack opportunities in a nickel role and occasional substitute for Parys Haralson and Ahmad Brooks.

Given the question marks in Seattle, he probably has a decent chance of getting his first career sack in his regular season debut. We haven't heard the specifics of his role yet, but that seems like a reasonable inference given his raw talent and the mix of defensive fronts we'll see from Vic Fangio.

So it's time to help the 49ers rookie come up with a dance. The 49ers haven't had a lot of great sack dances in their recent past. Sure players maybe ought to "act like they've been there before" but a good sack dance is still entertaining. The most recent 49ers dance came courtesy of Takeo Spikes.

The league has a variety of examples, but it'd be nice to mix something in that is at least a little unique. Since we're enjoying a nice little holiday weekend, I thought something fun like this could generate some good ideas for Smith. The most original recent one might have been the Don't Tase Me Bro by Barry Cofield. Here is an NFL Network rundown of the Top Ten celebration dances (mix of TD and other dances).
