The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks released their final injury reports for Sunday's game and there aren't any significant surprises. Dashon Goldson, Robert Gallery and Sidney Rice are all listed as doubtful for the game, which would seem to indicate none of them will play. Doubtful isn't as strict as out, but if a doubtful player does play, the league will often look a little closer at the situation.
The 49ers have indicated Madieu Williams will likely get the start in place of Goldson. Reggie Smith practice with the scout team this week, playing the role of Earl Thomas, which would seem to indicate he will not be starting. It will be interesting to see how much playing time Smith does get and in what capacity.
For the Seahawks, Ben Obomanu will take Rice's starting spot while rookie tackle James Carpenter appears likely to slot over to left guard in place of Gallery. In addition to Rice and Gallery, offensive tackle Jarriel King is out and DE Chris Clemons and LB David Hawthorne are probable. The Hawthorne injury could be something to follow as he has been bothered by it for several weeks. If Hawthorne can't play, rookie K.J. Wright would get the start at middle linebacker.
