Week 5 comes to a close tonight with Monday Night Football, featuring the Dallas Cowboys hosting the Chicago Bears. The Cowboys are a 3 1/2 point favorite in a game that should bring some solid entertainment. We will see two offenses that can open things up, but also can deal with a variety of miscues. Add in a pair of defenses that can make plays, and the final score could range from 17-13 to 35-32.
The 49ers do not face the Cowboys this year, but will host the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football later next month. I was high on the Bears coming into this season, and a 2-1 start is not the worst thing in the world. At the same time, Jay Cutler's struggles have them teetering in a rather precarious position. I don't quite know what to make of the 2012 Chicago Bears at this point. Tonight's game could tell us a lot about both of these teams.
