We're back for another week of NFL picks. While I had an improved 10-4 week straight up, I was 7-7 against the spread, which helps nobody. Apparently I should stick with just moneyline bets.
The 49ers host the New York Giants this weekend, and the line seems to be settling in the 6.5- to 7-point range. In my picks this week, I went with the 6.5 as I am seeing more of that than the seven points. While the 49ers are entering this game coming off a pair of epic beatdowns, I still think this could be a close one. The Giants often seem to play up or down to the level of their competition.
I do think the 49ers could win this game handily, but I just have a hunch this ends up a tight battle. As Jim Harbaugh pointed out yesterday, Eli Manning is a magician and seems to make things happen out of nothing. Just ask the New England Patriots.
I do think the 49ers win and cover that 6.5 points, but I just don't think it'll be easy. Hopefully they prove me wrong. How do you see the game playing out?
Here are my picks for this week. Considering other options if you will be placing money on these games.
