Given how the 49ers looked in their fairly inept performance against the New York Giants, I thought a separate Sunday Night Football thread might be one way to distract everybody. I'd say you can also talk Cardinals-Giants NLCS action if you'd like. You can talk 49ers, but I'd say it might be better to leave that in our recap post.
The Green Bay Packers travel south to face the undefeated Houston Texans. The Packers have slumped to 2-3 while the Texans are rolling along at 5-0. The Packers need something to get things going to avoid falling 2 1/2 back of first place Chicago and two back of the Minnesota Vikings. The Texans are likely going to run away with AFC South, but will have to battle the Ravens for the top spot in the conference. Right now it seems like the Texans and Ravens are the teams to beat in the AFC, with all but three teams sitting at .500 or worse.
So, for a few hours use this thread to forget about the debacle that was the 49ers loss. At least we get to watch a new game sooner rather than later (assuming you think that's a positive!)
