Golden Nuggets: Giants look back, Seahawks look forward

Tuesday, October 16, 2012 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of 49ers links from around the web.

Your fearless leader is here to pinch-hit on the daily links. Due to the late nature of this, they will lack the pizazz to which you are accustomed with Aaron and James. The way I look at it, this will make you appreciate their link organization that much better!

The links today are a mix of looking back at an ugly Giants game, while also looking ahead to the Seahawks game. Jim Harbaugh and Alex Smith discussed it plenty yesterday, and I am inclined to join them in moving ahead.

I wanted to point out one link that is from a new source. The second story is from Daisy Barringer, who writes some 49ers content for sfist.com. She's funny as hell and I'd recommend following her on Twitter. She provides recaps that provide some of her own analysis, but always include some good side stories from her experiences at the game.
