Super Bowl XLVII: Creating a Fan-cestry

An opportunity to win some Super Bowl tickets.

Friend of Niners Nation, Melissa Jacobs of The Football Girl, has gotten her site involved in a fun little contest, and I thought I'd throw a little NN support behind her. The contest features 14 blogs with the winning blog securing two tickets to Super Bowl XLVII, this coming February in new Orleans. If Melissa wins the contest, she will be giving away those tickets to one of her readers. While I do think you should check out her site, even if you are not a regular reader, helping with this will get you entered to win those two tickets.

What does it involve? Well, the sponsor is trying to create something called a Fan-cestry, where fans submit some basic details about how they watch the game, and it creates a sort of fan profile. It only takes a minute of your time. If you have a second, head over to this link, and begin the process. When you click to accept the terms, it asks if you want to connect with Facebook. If you do not want to, you can click cancel and still complete it.

The survey does not get too personal. It provides an opportunity to enter separately for their Super Bowl tickets drawing, but again, you don't have to take part in that to help Melissa's cause. It only takes a couple minutes and as some might say, I would consider it a great personal favor if you took part in this Fan-cestry. I filled mine out and it should surprise nobody that I'm listed as an "Avid Fan".
