The 49ers wrap up the first half of their 2012 schedule with a key divisional matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. A win gives the 49ers a two-game lead in the NFC West, while a loss drops the 49ers into a tie with the Cardinals. The 49ers lost their last matchup with the Cardinals in 2011, but had won the previous five.
This is a national television broadcast on ESPN, so most of us will get to see it. Well, for those of us with cable, as long as we do not lose power thanks to Hurricane Sandy. Out here in DC we're supposed to get a lot of rain and some fairly heavy winds, although not as bad as the Carolinas or NY/NJ. I just need power through Monday night!
The inactives will be up approximately 90 minutes before game time, and the first game thread will go live at approximately 5pm PT.

49ers Vs. Cardinals Odds
The 49ers are touchdown favorites heading into Monday Night Football, after opening at four points off-shore. While I am not surprised the line has risen to a touchdown, I'm still a bit skeptical of a big win. I do think the 49ers can win this game, but I also think most NFC West games this year are going to be tight battles. The 49ers best chance to cover this spread is if they truly dominate the Cardinals sieve of an offensive line.
