The 49ers are back at practice today, which means we'll have a practice participation report this afternoon. Brandon Jacobs will be the big name to watch as he tries to get back from his knee injury. It sounds like he is close to ready, but we'll have to wait and see how he looks in practice.
The 49ers will have their normal round of Wednesday press conferences at noon pacific today. Jim Harbaugh will kick things off and be followed by safety Donte Whitner and offensive tackle Joe Staley. Bills head coach Chan Gailey had plenty of positive comments about the 49ers offensive line and defense, so we'll see if the media decides to follow up on that with Whitner and Staley.
