Good morning, everyone. Hate to do this to you all but what you are about to receive is an abbreviated Nuggets. I've got friends that are in town for just a few days and must attend to them. There's not much news to be had. A bit more flap over Carlos Rogers' comments that the Jets quit. Patrick Willis was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week. Some of our walking wounded are a bit less wounded. And the team is getting ready for the Buffalo Bills. You would find all of that out if you read on. Enjoy.....and sorry for the brevity.
49ers 34, Jets 0
Here's my article about the game that came and went. I, as a pessimist, found something wrong and analyzed it. Not because I'm a hater, but because I want to see it fixed. | Alex Smith, the long ball and third down. (Malone)

Bills at 49ers
One of the big questions coming into the game is what will Buffalo do to shore up their leaky run defense. They have a good defensive line on paper, but gave up 247 yards on the ground to the Patriots last week. We ran up 245 yards rushing against the Jets. What can they do to stop us? | Will Buffalo sell-out to stop the run? (Faaborg)

More distressing news on the statistical front. The 49ers have the worst hands in the league so far this season. That is not a good sign. Mario Manningham could have caught a deep pass that would have gone for a touchdown. It's a wonder what Alex Smith's QB rating would be if we caught the passes he threw. | Drop stats: 49ers' hands not the best we've seen. (Sando)
