We're a day out from the first San Francisco 49ers game in what feels like a month. Really, they've been off for a week, but after being forced to watch a few minutes of other teams, I realized I just don't care about football itself enough to watch a team that's not the 49ers for a long amount of time. It's the same reason I generally have the Super Bowl on in the background but concentrate more on, say, my phone or my Kindle.
But we've got a match against the St. Louis Rams. Divisional matchups always get me hyped and, honestly, I've always considered the Rams a bigger rival than the Seattle Seahawks or the Arizona Cardinals. The latter is rarely threatening and the former I just can't seem to take seriously. The Rams have had some seriously good teams in the past and they've had their fair share of wins over the 49ers.
You'll be hearing from Aaron on Sunday, as usual, so in the meantime: GO NINERS!
