The 49ers kick off the second half of their 2012 schedule with a home matchup against the St. Louis Rams. The 49ers have a chance to maintain their firm hold on the NFC West with a win, in a game in which they are 11 1/2 point favorites. The opportunity is there to take care of business and kick off the final eight games with aplomb.
Given the nature of the matchup, it will not be nationally broadcast. Outside of the Bay Area and St. Louis, the game is mostly broadcast in the pacific northwest and neighboring states. The broadcast will feature Chris Myers, Tim Ryan and Jaime Maggio. While Myers can be rather dull, Ryan is an ex-player who not only knows his football, but is able to articulate things fairly well. It should be a decent broadcast.

49ers vs. Rams Odds
The 49ers have climbed to 13-point favorites over the Rams. They opened as 11-point favorites, but the line has climbed the last few days as more people seem assured of a big 49ers victory. I'd still take the cover!
