The 49ers and Rams released their inactives and San Francisco continues with their usual run of inactives, as Brandon Jacobs continues to sit and wait for his opportunity to contribute to the 49ers. I suppose his role as insurance is his "contribution" but take it however you want.
The most pertinent inactive this week for the Rams is wide receiver Chris Givens. He has developed into a solid deep threat, so this is a pertinent loss. The other big news of course is that Danny Amendola is active. He is Sam Bradford's security blanket, so that could help overcome the loss of Givens in the deep game. I have to think the Rams will try and hit a lot of underneath passes and go with more of a slow and steady approach.
49ers inactives: Brandon Jacobs, Scott Tolzien, A.J. Jenkins, LaMichael James, Joe Looney, Trenton Robinson, Ian Williams
Rams inactives: Austin Davis, Chris Givens, Darian Stewart, Janoris Jenkins, Chris Williams, Eugene Sims
