49ers vs. Bears injury report: Alex Smith questionable, Chris Culliver probable

We break down the 49ers and Bears final injury reports before Week 11 Monday Night Football.

The 49ers and Bears each released their final injury reports for the week, and there are no real surprises. As expected, QB Alex Smith is listed as questionable after completing a fourth straight day of limited participation in practice. It is worth noting that Chris Culliver also was limited in practice all week long, but he is listed as probable.

The general belief floating among the beat writers on Twitter is that Smith will play. This is not shocking, but at least worth noting. As Matt Maiocco pointed out, any time a player has been cleared for some manner of practice after a concussion, the player has played that following game. This year, that list has included Joe Staley and Daniel Kilgore. This does not guarantee Smith will be active, but it seems like it would be a bit of an upset for Smith to sit out on Monday.

As the Bears announced on Friday, the team will deactivate Jay Cutler on Monday due to his own concussion. It remains to be seen how long he'll be out, but Jason Campbell will start in his place in the meantime. Here are the full injury reports.
