So some people have suggested that Colin Kaepernick is the likely starter, and I don't quite understand it. The 49ers have won a lot with Alex Smith at the helm, and I don't think one game or riding with the "hot hand" is a great idea. At any rate, I'm at least more confident in Kaepernick at this point.
