While we continue through the maelstrom that is the 49ers quarterback situation, the NFL has released updated balloting results for the Pro Bowl. The 49ers continue to pile up votes with Patrick Willis, Mike Iupati, C.J. Spillman and David Akers all leading at their respective positions. Is it irony or coincidence that Akers is leading at the same time the 49ers are auditioning kickers? I always get that one wrong.

Those four are among the 17 49ers appearing in the top five of their position. Mike Sando shot out some tweets with names, and they are below. Make sure and continue voting.

Frank Gore
Bruce Miller
Vernon Davis
Anthony Davis
Joe Staley

Mike Iupati
Jonathan Goodwin
Justin Smith
Aldon Smith
Patrick Willis
NaVorro Bowman
Donte Whitner
