The 49ers and Rams released their final injury reports, and aside from the Demarcus Dobbs news, the big news is that Danny Amendola is listed as doubtful. The 49ers defense struggled to contain Amendola last time around as he hauled in 11 receptions. Even with the doubtful tag, I would not be at all surprised to see Amendola play on Sunday, but odds are not in his favor. Chris Givens will get plenty of looks whether Amendola plays or not, but without him, he becomes the receiver to watch.
For the 49ers, Darcel McBath reportedly still has to go through some part of the concussion protocol. Jim Harbaugh did not say if he was cleared at this point, so he likely will have one more test (if not more).
David Akers is listed as probable with a pelvis injury. There was some concern about that, but the decision to sign Michael Wilhoite off the practice squad would seem to indicate Akers is good to go. According to Coach Harbaugh, Andy Lee is the backup kicker and Isaac Sopoaga is the third string kicker. I would never wish injury on Andy Lee, but this is kind of tempting!
