Nothing. Nada. Rien. There are many ways to say nothing in many languages, and if I just went with the languages I know, this edition of the Nuggets would be more interesting. Look, who can blame the writers for taking the weekend off. Perhaps they had some time to work on a big article for tomorrow. Or maybe they finally got to simply enjoy football without the pressure of getting a Niners article out there. Whatever the reason. There is almost nothing to report.
As for me. I have tomorrow off (a tuesday) so I'll take advantage of this light Nugget duty and hit the town. Why do I have it off? Well, tomorrow is the Melbourne Cup, a horse race. It's Australia's version of the Kentucky Derby, and I get the day off because of it. Not I only do I not care about horse racing, it falls on a Tuesday every year, thus making it the worst holiday ever. But, hey, I'm getting paid! Oh...and I have no idea what the hell Aldon Smith is doing in this picture, but I've seen it in our stockpile of photos we can use and have been waiting to ease it in there somewhere. Well.....today was my chance.

Seahawks win cuts into idle 49ers' NFC West lead. (Inman)
And that's it folks. I scoured and searched. If anyone finds anything, feel free to put it in the comments. I would give you a topic to discuss, but I tried that yesterday and Edggy and Desert Dog Runner talked about dogs. So, figure something to talk about. What kind of dog does everyone have. I don't have one....but I'd love a lab - kelpie mix when I get a place of my own. And with that...I'm out.
