We're a day out from our matchup against the New England Patriots and I remain confident ... kind of. Not really. I've been lacking confidence ever since the switch to Colin Kaepernick at quarterback, though that doesn't mean I'm not pro-Kaepernick. I just don't like the way the team as a whole has been playing and that's the way I'm measuring the time frame.
The Patriots are just really, really good. I would have picked us in a heart beat in the Super Bowl last season, but they seem otherworldly at this point. I think the only way San Francisco wins this game is if Aldon Smith goes out and breaks that record and really, truly disrupts Tom Brady. If the 49ers can't get to him, then this one will be over pretty quickly, in my opinion.
Onto the linkage for the day, ya'll.
